SubhanAllah, the blessed month of Ramadan has seen many members of our community bringing in their more than generous donations for the Halal Food Bank as well as the Ansaar Project to support the poor and needy in Melbourne. The CoverMe Project aims to collect sleeping bags and blankets from the Muslim Community and redistribute them to the homeless in the various locations in which they were collected.

We were overwhelmed by the amount of donations we received within this short amount of time and passed on all donations to the coordinators of the Halal Food Bank Melbourne, Mrs Raqeeba Hanif and Br. Amir Fouda from the Seeker’s Hub/Ansaar Project.
